Thanks guys. Am waiting to talk with the doc. I had sepsis. My body temperature was swinging wildly and I was shaking violently. Antibiotics administered. They want to admit me and do further testing. Weather is perfect too.

Feel better man! And whatever you do... don't rush yourself back into working on the boat. No matter how much fun it is i the mind, it still has stress and physical detriment. You can't drive that boat 6 feet under.

Man that stuff can be dangerous... you listen to the wife and the doctors. In fact anything wrong with the lungs is miserable, I'm battling a first for me right now, acute bronchitis.

Well, I'll be here in the hospital for another night. Doc swung by and said they're waiting for culture results which will take some more time.

The doc said it was a pretty bad infection because of the Prednisone. :blue:

Once they get the results, they'll be able to prescribe the correct antibiotics. So that should keep me from having to come back.

The good news is that they have really fast WiFi here!

Oh! I do have a 40" TV in my little room. Not full HDMI though. Very limited channel selection too. Even so, I am less interested in watching stuff on my phone with the big screen there

Infectious disease doc came by. They're still trying to figure out wth happened with me. They took another culture sample this afternoon. Dunno how long I'll have to wait for that one. :blue:

In my experience the only thing good about the hospital is going home.. Oh! and maybe a few cute nurses..

They moved me about midnight last night to a real room. It's semi-private but still much better digs. Might not be here much longer anyway.

Doc came by this morning and said that I might be able to go home today. Woohoo!

Still waiting for one culture and the Infectious Disease doc to sign off. Keeping my fingers crossed
