Well, my strong young buddy injured his back and won't be able to help us board up our place. He came over this evening and gave me some advice though. My wife is concerned that I might have a heart attack if I try to do it myself. Could be.
So for tomorrow we'll concentrate on stockpiling water and getting other stuff done.
There isn't enough room in our garage to hold the Kingfisher, the Chieftain and my wife's car at the same time. I'm thinking of putting the KF next to a tree and chaining it up to that and then partially filling it with water to add weight. I also considered putting it upside down, turtle style, outside and anchoring it to the ground, but I don't have enough ground anchors to do that. There are no more ground anchors available for sale anywhere around here now. All gone.
