Re: hull extension in progress with picks

I did not read all posts so I apoligize if this has been asked already. If you leave the cap original, the seats will be way forward in the boat. This will make for a rough ride, change the center of gravity or balance point (?) blah, blah, blah. Just wondering if any of this will matter or if you considered it?

Not with what he is planning to power this thing with. Gonna be some serious weight at the back.

He's got nice plans for the interior that will also address the weight balance issue.

I don't have time to do the upload of pics and narrative and stuff, but if anyone wants to see the pics I took, check out

Let me know if there is something I have to do to make them viewable or something. Kinda new to photobucket.

We talked about this in another thread somewhere.

Basically, have this on Osoyoos lake. Those from Canada launch in Osoyoos. Those from the US launch in Oroville Washington and we meet at the border.

No sharing of beer or food and make sure you hit shore on your side of the lake, but just sit in the middle and party.

Re: hull extension in progress with picks

Well, I've got a lot of work to do if I want to pull my Glastron up there and float it! I'd have to say though, it'd be one fun vacation, though I really don't think I'd have much luck getting the wife to concede to a 1700mile trek pulling a boat with the kids and dogs there and back...by the time the first trip was over, I may just end up staying with the boat and she goes back with the truck.
