I did not read all posts so I apoligize if this has been asked already. If you leave the cap original, the seats will be way forward in the boat. This will make for a rough ride, change the center of gravity or balance point (?) blah, blah, blah. Just wondering if any of this will matter or if you considered it?
Might be worth the 3 day drive to get a ride on it.

ya know guys........iffen we has a boat inn.......im sure we could get sean floats from calg......a few of the guys from edmonton.....ondarvr with his tinny jet...and tackel with his tinny...not to mention...rob j with his boat....(super job on that resto)..we could probably have a really good time.....heck.....we could even invite bruno....!....don s isnt that far......that way if any body broke down.........(kidding)

Well, I've got a lot of work to do if I want to pull my Glastron up there and float it! I'd have to say though, it'd be one fun vacation, though I really don't think I'd have much luck getting the wife to concede to a 1700mile trek pulling a boat with the kids and dogs there and back...by the time the first trip was over, I may just end up staying with the boat and she goes back with the truck.
