What the hack is this thing????? That thing is a power switch, A master power cutoff switch that takes a little plastic key to activate/ turn on and off power to the whole boat ( great for keeping batteries from going dead) and also great for security reasons. I would advise replacing it ( with a top quality one).

Get that white hose from blowes i mean lowes, in isle 35 in plumbing. As for the paint, ya got me.

They will sell you that hose by the foot and cut however manny feet you need.

.... #2 where can I get this white hoes, i dont need the fitting just the white tube (I know you all know of a cheap place for this!) (see photo)

What are you using it for? What size is it (can't tell from the photo)? I hope its not for bilge pumps. That stuff will crack and leak in no time at all. iboats has good wire reinforced bilge hose that will not split like that white stuff, or collapse when bent like common heater hose.

Also check out the prices of iboats paints, they seem to be low priced.

its for the cables and wires that go from the outboards into the transom of the boat they are usually black on most boats, however i want white

I NEED YOUR HELP I BOATERS! i guess recently B bracket went out of business, they are the company that made the bracket i bought for the boat. I
need help trying to find out how to mount this bracket, ex. the height as to where to mount the bracket. please help!

Do a net search on outboard motor brackets. I have seen manufacturers list the mounting dimensions on their website. With that info, you should be able to compensate for the dimensions of you unit and figure out where to drill the holes. But basically, you want the outboards to be the same hight as if they were mounted right on the transom.

i hear ya Mark, only problem i sthe company is out of business and i have no way to obtain the instructions. Is their somethings i should look out for? like where the lower unit should fall, where it shouldnt fall, the port to starb is going to be easy cuz its a full swimplatform and the bracket is already pre drilled for that its just the height of the bracket that is in question. Also what type of 1/2 bolts should i buy for this? any recommendations?

heres another Q for all of you, i am going to be mounting my trim tabs this weekend and i need your help! I am not sure what type of sealer to use on the screws going into the transom. obviously the tabs SCREW not BOLT into the transom, with this being submerged underwater all seasion i want to make sure i have protectede these screw holes so that no moisture can get in...any tips, tricks, and most of all products i should use to do so???? please help. i have the locations of them all maped out just not mounted yet

Use 3M 4200 or 5200 on the screws.

For the bracket height, go over to the prop forum and DH should be able to give you an idea. Actually the old bracket should have been at the correct height already, so just use the top of where the motor was mounted as the new dimension also.

hey everyone i need alllllll your inputs, if its just a simple one word responce, i have contacted 3 painters that are coming to look at the boat to paint it this week and i need to know what kind of paint to use. the painters i have been talking to are sugesting a PPG car paint and other are sugesting Emron paint which should i go with???? I want you opinions!

I have seen Imron used on boats but have never used it myself. Interlux makes a good paint from what I have read. I used Rustoleum topside on mine and was great, especially on the wallet.

Most of the high end two part paints will work well, that doesn't mean just any two part paint will though, it needs to be one of the better ones. Price is a good indicator of what you?re getting with these paints.

I'd say Awl grip, Imron or Interlux. I've seen Pettit last for years in flat colors on duck skiffs. I would think they're gloss colors would be just as good.
