It puzzles me how people try to get money for things like this when they should be the ones paying for their removal. At least throw in the trailer so they can haul your s*** off easier. Jeez.

If the free boats were near my area, I would haul them off for free. I would strip everything off the hulls (windshields, cleats, grab rails…) and resell them. Only takes about 15 minutes to cut up the hull with a chainsaw when I am finished removing the parts.

The blue & white boat has a great windshield that someone could use on an old aluminum Starcraft.

The boat is tied to the tree because TS Beryl was on the way and the guy didn't want to lose his ***......ets in the storm surge. The white one filled with kudzu is already a planter adding to his property value, it should stay.

I'm with JC - strip and chop. But it's too far for me too. Next door is almost too far.

EDIT - I can't use a s s in the word assets. LOL

Ahhh the good old "easy fix" Notice that there is one seat in the whole boat and it is not behind the wheel... looks like there is a hole in the floor where it used to be. All in all it looks like a great deal! I will be picking it up tonight....

If I lived close Id bring him a quadbike with three bad tires that only fired on one cylinder and had shot suspension and tell him it was also an easy fix. I'm sure that boat will be on there until someone else with a POS 55hp Chrysler needs a parts motor offers him $200 for the rig and he takes it.

Glad to see that I am not the only one who is always looking out on how to make a buck or two. Last year I bought a POS that floated, and ran. Decent trailer, good motor, and a marshmallow floor. I still have to finish stripping some parts off to resale, scrap the aluminum deck plates and then chain saw the hull. Then I will have a nice wide utility trailer.

When its all said and done I paid for the whole rig to get the motor, that was all i was after anyway, the part out some of the stuff, I have the funds to re purpose the trailer for lawn care duty. :)

This part is funny..."...also it has a chrysler 55hp out board motor on it and fires out of all pistons but one but its an easy cheap fix just needs points"



I believe that engine only has 2 cylinders...! All but 1 firing, meaning 50% are not firing....just funny way to say it I guess :)

ive been reading for a few hrs. i just couldnt stop. i mean this is pricless. boats for sale with trees in them? and the sunken trailer cabin cruiser in the sand. $900? i cant remember how many times ive wiped tears from my eyes laughing but its a alot.
