Giant hole to throw money in (Berea, Ohio):

I have a 1984 Imperial VC230 with a semi-bad transom...meaning there is bad area at the lower, starboard quarter where the transom plate mounts. I am scrapping the boat as I don't have the desire to tackle repairing it. As I see it, it would make an awesome flower planter for the right front yard, or possibly a training boat for a watercraft fire department. Sadly, the @ss-heads that built it, were smart enough to use foam filled stringers (which are fine), but a wood transom. Because of that, I am buying a new boat. Price is $0.00 if you come and get it. Price is negotiable. Willing to trade for thin air.

Here's another from South Bend CL....'It need a new intake gasket and itll run as good as new' - something tells me it will take a little more than that to get this old tug sea worthy again.

i love this part of the ad.

the pics i have are bad ones the boats actually clean

Those darn cell phones with cameras always fill my boat up with leaves and trash. They also make the seats look like they're split, too.

Anyone else have cell cam probs like that?

WOW, is this a GREAT deal!

I don't know much about this old boat. The motor says: Sky Twin 33 electric start. No, I don't know if the motor runs, but it might.

The man who owned this boat died awhile ago and it was abandoned in a small creek.
My husband rescued it several years ago and it is now taking root in my front yard.

I want it to GO AWAY!
I have no title. I don't really want to worry about getting one.
I am selling the BOAT TRAILER (which is STEEL with wood around it to cradle the boat) and GIVING away the boat and motor - you have to take it ALL.
I expect it will need new tires and wheels which are about $30 each at Harbor Freight.

If YOU want to rescue this boat, please email me and I will introduce you.

Cabin Cruiser 1977 25' $ or trade - $1900 (Marble Falls)

1977 Fiberform Flybridge Cruiser Great 25' project boat that requires some mechanical skills. Bolt on some parts, Get carbs cleaned. I fixed transom, didn't finish getting it all back together. Put on one outdrive, clean it up and go (How much easier could it be?). Ive never used it'. Got caught up in other projects. Now She says must go! My loss your gain. Nice lines clean hull. Nice size. I moved it with a 1/2 ton v8 pickup. Trade for whatever but must work. car, motorcycle, airplane ) etc. Needs some parts for exhaust. I suspect needs about $1,500 to $2,000 worth of parts. Trailer alone worth $1500

Nice Shorelander trailer ( needs new tail lights) with 2 new wheels and tires plus 2 used wheel and tires for spares, also included is a 40 horse Mercury outboard ( I've been offered 150.00 for the motor alone) that could be reassembled and might run then.
