LOL :D:D There's no way that lower unit is worth $1200...the seals have got to be melted and probably all kind of possible damage.

For $20, it's well worth it for a spare, hammer out the blades half decent and toss it in for a spare prop. I carry one that I welded up myself and hand filed, I've never needed it myself but it's gotten a few buddies home over the years. Worked pretty good to boot.

Who wants to be the first one to offer this guy scrap weight value on it?
"Motor is burning oil"
"Motor has many hours on it"
Those two statements pretty much tell the story here. He wants $1000 for a whooped motor.

Older Century Boat Motor and Trailer - $500 (Des Moines)
Date: 2010-04-20, 10:01AM CDT

I have a boat that I was going to do something with but have never found the time and now the county says I need to move it out..
It is a 17 ' Runabout style with a 90hp Evenrude Motor.. It did start right up a couple years ago but the carbs did leak gas so they need a kit in them.. The seats are pretty much shot but it would make a good fishing boat for someone and I think the price is right.. The Trailer alone is worth close to $500.00..

9.9 motor - $265 (Near Osceola)
Date: 2010-04-20, 9:01AM CDT

I have a sears 9.9 gamefisher motor ready to try on my pond. Price is firm so don't waste your time if you want it for less, that is not going to happen. It is a good motor and will probably last me another 10 years that is only 26.50 a year. The only reason that I am selling it is I got a bigger motor but might still use this one occasionally if no one is interested in it. It has a new impeller, carb kit last year, small tank to throw in with the deal. It pusheds my sixteen foot boat so fast you can't open it up without crashing into the bank on my 3/4 acre or so pond. Great motor for any small to medium sized boat easy to carry also might weigh 65 or 70 lbs. Will only hold it for you long enough for you to drive here and you better arrive on time. First person here with the money gets it. 641 414 1167 can't always answer the phone and noisy when I am working, will call back though at break or lunch whatever or answer if I happen to hear you.

LOL ^^^^^^ None of it by itself is totally unreasonable, but the whole thing together cracks me up :D

so fast you can't open it up without crashing into the bank
That line gets honorable mention
