at first I was thinking, hey, the trailer is worth $650 but something about the pictures struck me as odd. Then I realized that the wheels are only 4 lug. I've never seen a tandem axle trailer with 4 lug wheels before.

Yeah, but it is only $650... seriously... if engine runs...

Yeah, seriously...............................................even if the engine runs.

The seller lists it as a package for $650 or trailer only $550. So even he thinks the boat is a POS. That includes a motor & outdrive (if present). Notice an outdrive sticking down in any of the pix? Nope, I don't.

No pix of the Buick or outdrive, that should tell you something about them & their condition.

Hello, I have a Span America boat that I need gone. I have no use for it and just need the money, anyways, the boat is a 1979 I believe with a 40hp Johnson outboard engine. The boat needs a new wire the controls the key box. Everything ran fine otherwise. Sometimes it will start and sometimes it won't because of the wire.

Yeah, Span American's have a small following, too bad they strapped it down so tight that the gunwale is deforming:

What's w/ the crazy winch/bow stop 'post' & is that forward bow bunk even in contact w/ the hull?

Trailer's way too small, weird setup in front for sure. I like the windshield, I could use one like that, but not worth the $$ or time & trouble to me.

I love that almost 50% of the boat is hanging past the end of the trailer. I bet that trailer is meant for a 12' boat.

As I have aged a bit and got a bit wiser I try to avoid buying boats or engines that I can stand on one side and see clear through and out the other side.
