A buyer might be interested to know the make and model.....

A buyer might be interested to know anything else for that matter in addition to the blurry "through the window from inside the house far away" photograph aside from the $700 price tag. This guy actually think there will be someone who's interested in this??? Truly amusing...

the ad this is referring to has been posted here a couple times before, but now the seller's getting heckled & responding to the heckling
His last respone was flamed pretty quick so I missed it, but now more heckling:

If you didn't say "Must Be Picked Up Tomorrow" every time, MAYBE people would'n't make fun of you!

This one probably doesn't need TLC but he lists that is a Volvo and only shows a picture of a price list and a boat with an outboard on it.

the swim platform and tower look great in the photo - gotta love them vlovo's
The 2nd picture has been changed. It was just a shot of an outboard boat from above like you see in a brochure before.

Re: Funny "TLC needed" boat ads on Craigslist.

I have bought several "unique fixerupper opportunities" over the years and done very well at moving them. The latest was a 28ft Harris pontoon boat with a hard top. I happened to be at the lake when he was towed in with the engine hanging by the steering cable. I helped him walk it on the trailer and rope up the old Suzuki motor to what was left of the transom. It fell off while he was running down the lake. I asked him what he was going to do and he said he was going to get out of boating and junk the boat. I bought it for $500.00 and took it home that day. Put a 50hp Merc on it that I had bought earlier that year for $200.00. The wife was pissed when I sold it two weeks later for $3000.00. God bless the weekend warriors!!

Is he looking for a decapitated cuddy? :noidea:

I'm looking for an aluminum boat set up for remote steering, in the range of 15-17 foot. Mainly the older crestliner, starcraft or grumman runabouts / center consoles would work fine. I don't mind if the boat needs work such as transom or deck repair. Repairable leaks are OK but nothing too serious. I have cash and ready to deal, if the motor doesn't work that's no big deal either, I have one I can put on if needed.
Let me know if you have an aluminum boat like this you'd like to sell.
