True, The Forces were eventually mostly mercury. the big difference being a totally different power head. Advertising a Force as a Mercury is at best ignorance on the seller.

It definitely has an effect on value. Force has achieved a dubious reputation,be it deserved or not. but when you buy a Force motor you have to consider that, it effects resale down the road.

Mercury's biggest financial interest in Force could well be the impact on the brand.

Tracker did just that for a few years. Some Mercury marked Trackers are Forces. Can't tell except the model number or cowling if you don't know what to look for

That is NOT nice. I've been learning a lot about Tracker recently, not that I'm interested in a small boat but would be very cautious.

I see the boat, but i have to wonder about the cover on it,where do you get a plastic bag that big?I havent seen them at harbor freight.

Almost looks like a parachute of some sort???? Seems to have some seams and cords attached?
Hard to say for sure.

BOAT!.. You know what they say.. Not sure what is up with the trailer, and that transom is.. Well someone who buys it may want to offload the motor before attempting transport. Looks like their answer to a floppy transom was a thin piece of a sheet product

Yep, those are nice boats but that one is a little too far gone to economically bring back. Not worth anywhere near $3k..

If the trailer was sound and I was in for a big project. Possibly $500 if the trailer was still in good shape

Sounds like a bargain if he is paying $800 to have it hauled away. Why do people think others will pay to haul their trash away?

And the pics clearly marked 6 years ago with a for sale sign visible saying $1300. So he's come down $500 in 6 years! In 2021 it will be free!
