Curious if it has asphalt shingles on the roof. I wonder if the builder will furnish the buyer with his plans that show the center of gravity, center of buoyancy, and the calculated metacentric height. Although it would make a great chicken house or tool shed for anyone living in a flood prone area.

Looking at that picture makes me hear Creedence Clearwater Revival songs in my head.

Strange it made me hear somebody tell Ned Beatty to 'Paddle faster, I hear banjos.....'

Given the less the nautical engineering involved, I would not be surprised if the flat roof was shingled. But it's probably rolled roofing.

Roofing may also be part of the DIY finishes.... As is the porch swing.....

You do not want to fish thru the hole in the floor..... That's the access point of the indoor plumbing............

You got it wrong, JB, That is the indoor plumbing. I saw the Sears catalog through the winda.

Finish it way I want. OK. The front porch needs two busted up Lazyboys. You know, the kind with bricks for the missing legs.

Now you're thinkin' outside the box, JB. 'Cept did you say order - as in buy? We gotta keep workin' on ya. The good ones have cracked bottoms and gotta be patched with sillycone to make them perfect!

Do you just leave it anchored out and freeze in the ice? or do you drag it around with your ATV?

Hmmm, perhaps the misspelling is more accurate then the seller thinks:

Tri-Haul

Yikes it's a Bayliner, not really a TLC ad, but $6K 23yr old +/- Bayliner/Force motor, it had better not be a project boat.

I better call the bank about a 2nd home mortgage. Oh, and go to the dump for some Lazyboys or how about a tire for a swing?

Wait a minute - $305 bid and the reserve isn't met. Too rich for my blood.

Hey, wait! It's not some redneck's job: they use marine-grade, tinned, asphalt shingles...

If it was powered, I wonder how you would navigate such a barge?
Open both doors (i assume there's a back door) and look through the cabin?
Engine controls, and a wheel at the front window, so the cabin doubles as a bridge?
That would be kinda neat... That front window looks like the newer style, so in theory, the "bridge" window probably tilts out for easy cleaning.. :D

If this was closer to me, I might consider it...
Not for "a good first boat" (it's anything but), but as mentioned it would make a dandy tool shed or bunk house.
Just would have to figure out how to place it. Rip the cabin off the toons, and do it normally, or dig two big ruts, and sink the toons in the ground?... :D;)

Just leave it out in the yard next to the upside down '73 Chevy. And put a mailbox with the name "Noah" painted on it.

Teamster will be along in a minute to extoll the virtues of installing a 200hp Merc tiller OB on this barge

Better hurry fellas, bidding has stalled below Reserve @ $305+/-... You will regret missing this opportunity to own you're own floating house! Puget Sound here we come
