I think they are finally on to us.

Smells like a plant:

RE 18' Cobia sportster

Looks like a response to an adv. 18' Cobia Sportster

Thinking a few glitches with OCD might be prevalent here.

But Hey, if it gets him outside for the first time in 23 years with his 23 kids it's all good, it's all good, it's all good, it's all good.

As long as all 23 don't go on the boat together. :faint2:

Boat that was for sale somewhat local to me was stored like that. I looked at it 1959 Whitehouse. Guy wanted $300 for it which was not too bad. Stored bow way up in the air. lower unit was somewhat stuck in the mud, and the hull was severely stress cracked. It was complete and original, and I would have liked it but had to pass on it.

Maybe a glitch on your end, or the seller was in their ads & it affected this ad. Link works now for me too........

Of course, Firefox may have it still cached on my computer, so it loads from there rather then the actual ad...

Ads like this make me nauseous: IT'S 24 FEET+BIG BLOCK +CUDDY CAB HUGE STEREO & TVS UNDER 14 GRAND!! - $13700 (Southwest )

This is a 1996 Century Arabian 24 its looks newer I tell people its a 2001 lol!! Boat is in great shape garage kept VERY RARE I still haven't seen another one like it and I live at Havasu and Lake Mead in the summer. Its loaded comes with a 454 Mercruiser 330 hp only 350 hours, Bravo One outdrive, has thru-hull exhaust sounds great!!!!! Interior is in great shape sleeps 3 while watching movies all night!!! The leather is in great shape too, has power steering, Led lighting all over the boat, looks great at night a real party boat has a 15 inch TV downstairs 4 10 inch Alpine Type R subs with JL audio amps , Kenwood indash TV DVD player way too much but heres more!!!!! Boat comes with 2 batteries brand new optima blue top, has selector switch, has sink and tons of storage . I have spent over 3,000 bucks last season for fuel pump, tune up, impellor, batteries its lake ready needs nothing. Has a lightweight alum trailer with 4 chrome rims that were purcharched last year. This boat has all that same options as the newer 50,000 dollar boats for under 14 grand both titles in hand call or text

And for some reason whenever I see "rare" on a boat ad I immediately think "Bozo" . . .

That doesn't really meet the criteria of a TLC needed boat though. Especially since the "leather" is in such good shape!

It must be rare... because HE HIMSELF hasn't seen any others in his area.

My jet boat is what some would consider kind of rare (especially on this coast). But blow-hards like this guy would make me think twice about calling it such if/when I sell it, due to the magnitude of other blow-hards who list not so rare items on C-List, and eBay. I wouldn't want to be considered as guilty by association, even though I would be right...:D;)

One of about 10 lines that makes me pukey.

Yeah, on the East coast I would agree. Here? Not so much ;) 18 ft. squirt boats used to be the standard on the Colorado River. Things have changed, but I understand that Advantage will still build your exact hull new today...

This from April 2010: Rogers Custom Boats - Page 2

I am just realizing the guy I boated with 30 years ago had a Bonneville. It was painted in Superman colors, we called it Superman. Wow, memories.
