It absolutely pains me to do this but I need to sell this boat by the end of the day or else I lose it altogether. It's a long story but I'm going through a wretched divorce and my future ex-wife is jockeying for this boat even though she has never set foot in it - it's my baby and she wants it to spite me. I'd rather take $2,000, O.B.O., vs. watching her fat *** take it from me.

The boat an absolute dream (my ex is the nightmare), I think the picture speaks for itself. It's been a project of mine for the last 15 years. Just a few examples of what I've done is add 470 big block Chevy ZL-1 with Weber-Moon mechanical fuel injection, dry Barrett headers, a Casale V drive, and crushed stainless prop.

Call me ASAP for more details. I need this done in the next couple of hours.

Call me at 248.431.7687. I will not answer email

It's either a scam or a deal of a lifetime. He should sell it to a buddy and then buy it back after the dust settles.

In the big D, she may have gotten all his friends & the tow rig too. His lawyer must suck:eek:

This isn't quite what I was expecting: http://albany.craigslist.org/boa/3087257501.html]
Force 50

I knew Force was kind of a cheaper Mercury, but powerhead sold separately? Man, that is a cheap alternative:eek:

I can now stop wondering what I'll do w/ the old riding lawn mower engine now that the deck is toast:facepalm: I can mount it on this lower & have a super short shaft air cooled OB:cool::facepalm:

Regarding that $2000 Donzi, that is a good way to spend $2000 on a boat that the courts will make you give right back once the assets at time of divorce are listed.

I was going to help a buddy with a car like that, he would rather have had anybody but her have it, so I could get it for $1500 and it literally was worth $6000 in pieces, but asked around and since it was marital property and the process had begun the advice was stay away.

He also abbreviated Illinois - ILL:facepalm:
Old school (early 60s), as in pre-two letter abbreviations.... Might still have a rotary phone too.

This boat sounds like the bargain of the year.

I think its funny how the title says (needs minor work) and later on in the ad he says he doesn't know whats wrong or how to fix it. So how do you know that it is minor work?

My favorite parts was "takes about a minute to plane out and started to squirt a little bit of oil from somewhere".
