Chris-Craft Challenger 5.5 hp TWIN. Early 1950's vintage. Built-in fuel tank. Turns-over, with good compression! I will trade for 5-9.9hp 4-stroke motor. Must be in good running condition.

Location: Flagstaff

Wasn't on craigslist but I did find the founding on a listing on ebay 19.5' boat:

This hull is in great shape - Runs Fantastic - Does need new floors soon as they are a little soft, but that is about a $200 fix. Boat has full canvas and is ready for the water. This is a perfect boat for a family on a budget!

. . . And lastly, I have always wanted to see some trailer axles duel. Would they use guns or knives? And would their bearing buddies join in the fight? :D

No, they arm themselves with long, thin pieces of tire tread and slap each other with them. It's not a pretty sight. Keep your axles happy by putting good tires on them and they won't be doing any dueling.

"dont leak or didnt if it does its easy to fix", So it doesn't leak, but it may leak, but it is easy to fix although it doesn't leak????? Trailer has a broken spring, but it is pretty solid.

Kinda hard to knock an outboard off the back! Particularly since it essential likely a large one looking at the boat

Looks like a pretty easy fix, I'd love to hear the story on that one.

Again, given the number of times that Craig's List makes you confirm the ad is okay, and then the fact that they send you a link that gives you another chance to edit the live ad...

...I cringe when I read some ads.

Then, when I sell something on-line and I have more offers than I can manage, I sort of thank the dopes that post what amounts to illiterate ads. If you own something decent, and you can post a decent ad, you can sell a lot of stuff.

That ad is classic, because they've gone ahead and classified complete engine removal as "TLC". Yeah, we know it's more likely in need of a new block or more, but even if those dopes/liars were right, how the heck is a complete engine remove/install TLC?!

It's worth what someone is willing and able to pay for it.
