And your point? That dummies get four chances at not being dummies? :)

OK, I'll bite...I think there is a very good possibility that at least a few C-list ad's we see are deliberate attempts at humor. We spend so much time looking for these gaffes that some clever folks have decided to pull our legs with outlandish offerings. That is my take on this tomfoolery!

Now, here is my recent find...http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/boa/2845531848.html

1978 SEA RAY BOAT- TRI CABIN- In Board! Has BAD MOTOR- BOAT IS IN GOOD SHAPE BUT MOTOR NEEDS REPLACED (350 Chev) GREAT INTERIOR, Setting on a 2010 EZ LOADER TRAILER. TRAILER IS WORTH MORE THAN I AM SELLING EVERYTHING FOR! DUEL AXELS/ with BRAKES! Jerry @ (317)xxx-xxxx

What is a Tri-cabin? Wouldn't that be a Yacht with three living areas? He mentions that it needs a motor; (I'll leave the semantics alone on that one,) which is thoughtful of him to point out; but could he have forgotten that it needs an outdrive perhaps? And lastly, I have always wanted to see some trailer axles duel. Would they use guns or knives? And would their bearing buddies join in the fight? :D

And didn't the seller kind of shoot himself in the foot when he mentions that he's building a bigger and better version for under 50k?
Yeah, that was incredibly funny. Also, he states you could run it as a six pack with 12 passengers. Huh??? He's either slicker than Dapper Dan's hair oil, or he doesn't get what a six pack means.

I bought this boat with every intentions of fixing and using it. I think it is a 18 ft. 350 inboard motor. Motor is stuck and missing carb. boats needs lots of TLC. Trailer in good shape. The reason I am only asking $200 is because that is what I have invested in it. When I bought it the lady (XXXXX XXXXXX) told me she would find the carb and get me the title. That was 7 or 8 months ago. She wont return my phone calls she moved since I got the boat. I have found her new address and I have threatened to drop just the boat off in her driveway and leave with the trailer. Her number is XXX-XXX-XXXX. At this point I just want my money back. So $200 buys it and I will give you the receipt she gave me.

(I X'd out the previous owners info in this post, but he put it right out there for all to see in the cl ad. :))

1985 Sea Ray Seville Bowrider - $1100 (Hillsdale)
19' 9" Searay bowrider. Runs well, interior needs to be redone, soft floor with some rotted wood.

Some rotted wood, huh? How about those 2x4's on the gas tank, or the long piece of plywood leading you to the bow?

Gives new meaning to the phrase "walking the plank!"

Is that ignorance  or a crafty plan to avoid freeloaders? ;)

I'd consider it if the paint didn't need to be 'striped'. I hate striped boats...

"ATTENTION!!!!!!ATTENTION!!!!!...THIS BOAT GETS ALOT OF ATTENTION AND THE LADIES!!!!!...I don't want to sell but I will ....if no one buys it i will just fix next year "

Soooo.... you're saying you don't want to sell it but if someone wanted to buy it you'd sell it.... and if nobody wants to buy it you don't want to sell it? And the buyer can get lots of attention in their brand new used broken boat?

Forget the boat, I think it's this guys incredible powers of persuasion and reasoning that get him the ladies!

Actually I think I understand all he has to say. It comes with a "bulge pump" . . .

If the boats a-knockin', it won't be rockin'.
