Well, if it's really a 150 with left-hand rotation and fairly new, the price may be okay. But as listed? Not so much.

Seller just emailed me a photo of a Johnson 15hp 4 stroke, 2005 or 2006.

He says the steering is set up for a left handed person.

Probably means that you use your left hand for the tiller, like most outboards. Don't know.

oBFIOUSLY iT'Z A MISTPELLINK.

Why do you have to be cynical, sarcastic and overly critical? That leaves a sour taste. This thread should be for highlighting the truly humorous ways people word their ads, not flaming poeple for making simple typographical errors which anyone could make. Even you. I probably misspelled a couple of words here but I'm not even going to check. HA.

Do you know one thing I've always liked about boating? It's the people on the other boats. No matter how ugly my boat was waved and encouraged me and have been there to lend a hand if I needed it. I would like to see that same spirit in here.

Let's all stay light hearted and keep this fun. OK?

Thank you.

1966 buehler turbocraf boat

inboard six cyl, needs work . no title but know the owners that had it .

call 873-XXXX

I think it's nice that the seller knows the owners that "had" the title. I can't help but wonder though, why he didn't get the title before he advertised the boat for sale.

OK, it technically does not say "TLC needed", but this is a hoot:

You can find the entire listing here: http://keys.craigslist.org/boa/2856079809.html

Once = typo. Twice equals ignorance.

This thread is awesome because tri-haul boats that need a little TLC are sold with trailors worth more then the price alone, with Evan Rude engines and some even have duel-axel trailors with breaks. Ran great last time out (ten years ago). Floor soft. Needs replaced.

Don't kill 90% of the fun, dude. I would love a boat as described if it came with a 19p porp and spare porp! Now that is a CL find!

Not a Craigslist deal, but QC's Wenches remark reminded me of this...

My Brother had just bought a new Shelby Charger in 1983, first one on the Streets where we lived. We lived next door, and he was washing his NEW car and I had my OLD boat in the driveway. He pointed to his car and said "Women..." I pointed to my boat and said "Women...in bikinis." I won that round :)

HHhmmm the wheels are turning man 65k though

And didn't the seller kind of shoot himself in the foot when he mentions that he's building a bigger and better version for under 50k?

Anyone ever post a CL Ad? You get unlimited time to review it before placing it; then you confirm this is the version you want three times before it gets published; then they send you a link to the ad and then they ask if you'd like to edit it immediately after it gets published.
