I googled Trailex and they have been making custom Aluminum boat trailers since 1963.

So this is less of a funny CL posting, and more of a "that looks familiar".

So a month or so back, we had a boat accident on I-95. An here is the photo of the accident.

In my day to day CL browsing I find this boat for sale.

Notice anything interesting about the photo from the ad below. What are the odds two of those lifted Dodge trucks are towing two very similar 25' CC Catalinas? Now there is a chance the boat is not the same one. He could own two of them, or I guess it could very well be two different owners, with two different trucks, etc...

I might agree, but the CL ad was from today, the accident was weeks back...

I went to look at a 1997 sea nymph fm 146 with a 1999 evinrude 30hp outboard. the boat had decks and carpet from the factory. The console worked and all gauges were in working order. The boat was filthy. He said on the phone it was clean and great condition. You would think if you are
trying to sell boat to present it in the best condition possible. Then the battery wasnt charged so he couldn't start the motor. It had a pull start but i think the owner pretended that he forgot about that and promissed that the motor runs...... So just fire the darn thing up!
Needless to say, I passed up on the deal
