Coastalrichard, as you know I have you located already, I have mapped it on Google, 5 hrs 33 min 343mi from my house to yours. Depending on circumstances Sunday may very well be go home day. Gotta get serious about plans now fo sho.

That is about the same trip I had to Fireman431's place last year.

Where, oh where is Sasto? You gonna make it?

I know sasto, it is the way you are. I think this promises to be a good one. I my case I am getting to see a lot of Florida that I have never been to before, between iboats, SeaRayOwners, and ClubSeaRay I have Been to Lake Murray SC, beautiful area, then in Fl, PCB, Lake Griffin, Crystal River, St Augustine, Nettles Island in Jensen Beach, Orlando area, been there many times but got to see a new part of the area, now looks like I will get to see Appalachicola area if I can make this trip, since I started this thread I sure hope I can, pretty sure I will.

coastal richard you previously mentioned you had some good numbers.. would you be willing to share? i fish sgi a few times a year. i have some numbers around mexico beach and st joe that are ok but nothing around sgi or appalach. also as plans get made for the get together i may b able to partake. i live in south georgia. but if you can share some decent numbers i would be so appreciative.

CR your about 4.5 hrs from us . Been searching for a place to crash . We may rough it at a campground or rent a cabin . Hope it wont be to hot for camping .

June is one of our best-weather months of the year sphelps. For camping you have a choice of the State Park campground on SGI and another one in Eastpoint called Sportsman's Lodge. Both have direct water access to the bay/sound. I would recommend Sportsman's as it is alot closer; it's at least 12 miles from Rattlesnake Cove (at the state park) to Little St. George. Both are easily found through Google search. Book soon!

NOTE: Sportsman's is right down the street from my home in Eastpoint.

I have made arrangements to have several additional boats available from other members of the St. George Island Yacht Club for Saturday's activities.

This may be one of the best yet, we have had some good ones and never a bad one. I have been watching another one for N Ga, looks like they are planning for the next weekend June 29, that will probably be to close for me to hit both, Look out Fl here I come again.
