WOW you guys, I haven't read this thread before and therefore didn't know the issue you all have. First and foremost, great to hear the Covid-19 results were neg. That would worry me more then anything else presently. Secondly, I didn't know you guys were in a special Hernia club. I never had any and hope to stay that way as well. But if you guys would have spoken up, with a loaded shop, I easily could have fixed you all up instead of bothering the hospitals for that. I mean I still have some 1708 and polyester resin that is still good. And I would have done the work for free also! Now tell me that isn't a bargain...

Serious, hope everything works out perfectly. Just be wise and don't push the recovery. It never is a good thing going back for seconds... Prayers are sent!

Good news and bad news .. Good my surgery went well I guess . Was there 9 am - 8:30 pm . 3 hrs actually on the butcher table .. The alien is shoved back in for now .. Really sore in the obvious area's . Meds are helping .
Bad news my son in law got his results back as he was taking me and the Admiral to the hospital yesterday morning . Positive ... :grumpy: I haven't been around him other than the ride and had mask on but my son has been around him playing vid games ans stuff . So he had to leave work to get tested along with my daughter and my wife will as well .. I really need to get back to work Monday if I can ..It was me and my sil running the night shift crew so supervision is stretched past the max with all of our jobs going on .. My son is one of our foreman also ..Not sure how we are gunna handle next week . Bad timing on everything ..

No kiddin'!

Sure hope all the tests are negative. This thing is like a drop of gas on of water, it keeps spreading if we're not careful.

Hey Sam, don't pick up anything heavier than a cup of coffee for a while - Or you may be meeting your new metal friend again.

^^^ Yeah, I was thinking your recovery time was longer than that. My bud traveled for work taking some techie gear with him. After his "flat on back" recovery, he returned to work ... with his wife carrying his gear bags for him

She was thrilled.

Gunna hold off one more day from going in . I’m more sore today than the last 2 days combined for some reason .
GA , I only caught a glimpse of “Edward Scissors Hands” before I went under . I hope not to run into him again ..

My wife just learned a few minutes ago that one of the other teachers at her school has tested positive for covid19. My wife was in semi-close contact with that teacher last Thursday at lunch time. She's setting up in-house isolation for herself now.

They're following protocol and closing the school for 2 weeks.

sphelps - body aches can be a covid19 symptom. Protocol is isolation for 2 weeks if exposed.

LOL! Yeah, my body aches have been ongoing for quite a few years too.

My wife spoke with a teledoc this morning and was advised to isolate for another week since her exposure was about 5 days ago. So she's living in the cat room! :D

She decided to wait a few days before getting tested. I'd like her to get it done sooner but ah, well.

So far, no symptoms in the house other than the usual stuff.

I contacted my VA doc and was advised that we should isolate per CDC guidelines even though we've had routine familial interaction ever since her potential exposure. "Better safe than sorry," I guess. :mmph:
