OR, maybe we hear it so much these days that it just goes unnoticed and over our heads now. I can remember when the word "Hell" was banned by the FCC from any TV show. Now seems everything is fair game. The world has changed...but not necessarily for the better. JMHO!

The Hippy, Dippy Weatherman's, Al Sleet, list of 7 words you can't say on TV is down to one or two, except for pay cable where anything goes.

So he's on night shift.

4 weeks is about normal to get a clear test. Did he have any symptoms, Sam?

My wife's co-workers son decided NOT to get tested, even after being advised to do so by his former employer and his mom. And he still lives at home with his mom and dad. He was told that there's no cost to be tested. He didn't care.

So my wife will STAY isolated when at home for another week; out of an abundance of caution.

Idjits. :mad-new:

My sil, 40ish, was sure covid19 was bs political stuff. Took no precautions. Flaunted his independence and ridiculed others concerns. Just got out of four weeks of ICU on a resperator. Now learning to walk and eat again. Induced coma plays h-ll with things we take for granted, eating, breathing, walking etc.

Things have been improving in MA . . . but I'm not so sure after this weekend.

Seas were calm and we went to a place which is known as Black Beach/Great Sippewissett Mash . . . I had never seen so many boats there, and for many - social distancing was out the window . . .

Lots of boats rafted up (which is a no-no according to state guidelines), and there were about 100 people all crowded together on the beach. A great day to be out on the water, and I'm sure that every sandbar area around Cape Cod and elsewhere were probably just like this . . . I just hope it does not cause a resurgence of infections

My wife got out of home isolation last evening. Her co-worker's son was guilt-tripped by his mom into getting tested late last week and received a negative result over the weekend.

I'm tired of this stuff but there's no end in sight. The Florida department of education is ordering all schools to reopen normally next month. Idjits!! :mad-new:

At some point we’re going to have start living again . This crap ain’t going anywhere anytime soon .. There’s no silver bullet that’s going to make it go away .. When do we go back to some kind of normal .. 6 months A year . 2 years .5 years ? We have to try as best we can to protect the ones most at risk and just press on unfortunately..
What other options are there ?

To distance. Wear a mask. Don't be an idiot. It isn't that hard really, and it doesn't have to be a huge sacrifice. The other option is to keep having total shutdowns. Who wants that?

I agree . I have no problem wearing a mask .And for those that don’t I just stay back from them .. I’m pretty much used to them now ..

I actually think lots of people really like me wearing a mask. It covers a large area of my face. What's not to like doing that....

We have goon 41 days now without a single new case of the virus. There are no cases active in the whole province, things almost feel normal for now.
