i like 'warm' sauce.

Tell us how you are making it, fermenting wise, and i can copy with lower hear peppers.

leftover chicken fajitas make a great omelet. Added a good amount of cotija cheese and topped with the leftover queso dip and spicy tomatillo sauce. Still have a couple tomatoes popping thru the sad looking vines.

it was a good night.

I've gotten to buying the primal cuts and breaking them down to freeze. Meat is soooo much cheaper.

I've forgotten how good sirloin is. I cut the tri tip out, some 1" steaks and grind up a bit of burger. Steaks come in @$3.50 lb which is less than half buying precut steaks.

the ppan sauce I made was prob my best. Used the juice of the dried mushrooms I rehydrated for the basmati rice along with some balsamic, red wine, stock and pan drippings. Roasted cauli with smoked paprika.

OK, this one is a whole story about why a whole fish instead of pretty little prepackaged sh....tuff.

The fish: ~4 lb steelhead

left was the last bit of dill from the garden and some lemons, top and bottom. Right was teriyaki / ginger marinade. I broke the rule and stepped away from the grill - I ran out of wine - and the coals got away from me for a minute so I pushed out some of the fat (the white stuff for those that may not know)

an oft overlook bit of love for brunch this morning. The steelhead have a pretty rotund belly so after the filet and below the ribs is 'bacon'. I have two of these, well one now.

A thin topcoat of sweet smoky bbq sauce roasted @ 430 for about 8 min, over easy egg on muffin. Riesling.
