Re: Boat Names

My preacher named his boat "Prayer" now if someone calls looking for him his wife tells them he's spending the day in prayer.

I am a preacher and I named my boat Visitation! I can now tell anyone who asked where I have been that I was out on Visitation!

Re: Boat Names

Wife and I just bought A 1994 Crowline 182BR. Drove 300 miles to look at it. Took 4 hrs of the day looking at it and going over EVERYTHING!!!! Boat is n great condition for age and only 290 hrs. Took it out a few days after we got home and it was perfect got up on plane fast and ran like a champ. 4600rpm and 49mph. Wife looked at me and said so was it worth the trip. So now we call ours Worth The Trip!!!!

Re: Boat Names

My Nova is getting named "Sad Fetch". My mom found this picture (see below) and it kinda turned into a continuing joke between my friends and I and one day when my friend Jordan and I were sitting on the boat in my yard he mentioned that and it kinda clicked...lol

Re: Boat Names

My dad's first boat back in '89 was a 1986 22' SeaRay Pachanga and named "NO REGRETS". My cousin bought a 22' Pachanga a few years ago and sentimentally named it "NO REGRETS II". Last year my dad bought a 32' Pachanga (his life long dream boat) and has named it "NO REGRETS III". Although I won't be buying a Pachanga, I think I'll have to carry on that tradition and go with "NO REGRETS 4 LIFE".

Re: Boat Names

It is still a work in progress built from bit and peices of older boats and for a part time worker living at home I am gonna go with "Frankencraft", or "Worth it"

Re: Boat Names

Had to laugh at this when I saw it, this boat goes around the marina and pumps out sewage from boats. Its name is " M/V Phecal Phreak" and underneath it said "We take crap from anyone".

we stay there at least once every summer and it is nice to have someone else handle the pump out duty for a change.

Re: Boat Names

Decided on this name today for my new to me boat.

RAINMAKER

Seems like everytime I try to get some work done on it, it starts to rain. Today for example was a beautiful day, mix of sun and cloud with temps in the mid-high 60's. Had a bunch of running around to do and didn't get home till 4pm. Went outside to work on the boat and withing 20 minutes the clouds moved in, temps dropped to mid 40's and it started to rain within the hour :mad::mad:

Seemed to happen all the time last summer (reason I have not yet got it finished) and its happening again this season.

Re: Boat Names

When I was in the Coast Guard a long time ago, home on leave, I dared my brother one Thanksgiving dinner to say loudly: "pass the f#cking butter" and he did it, I lost $50, and only my younger sister heard it. It's been a tradition ever since.
I later named my little sailboat "Past The Butter." Now my boat is "Squanderer" since I seem to foolishly spend money on fun stuff like boats.

A good friend of mine has a 8 foot sea flee that we named "We're Dead" as it has my 1956 35 horse Johnson on the back :D

Re: Boat Names

I named my 175 Basstracker "Missy", short for mistress. I kid with the wife and call the boat 'my other woman'. After all, I get to 'ride' her when ever I want :D

When my wife goes fishing with me I call it a menage a trois :D
