Re: Boat Names

Just bought a boat this week. A 17' Four Winns QX. Previous owner removed the WINNS badges on rear and custom painted PLAY in their place. We love the name "Four Play". If I ever get the 40' CC, it has to be ORGASM.

Re: Boat Names

we decided to name our 19' under powered deck boat with a 1/2 fishing and 1/2 pontoon deck config an appropriate name. "Mullet, fishing in the front, party in the back" Then my wife reminded me that i was loosing my hair to fast to pull that off any more so she suggested that we call it the "skullet".

for the official definition of the skullet

Re: Boat Names

My boat was called MADNESS when I bought it. I kind of liked the name and didn't want to risk the bad luck of changing it, but I did redo the lettering on the transom to make it ours (I went to Michigan and my wife went to Illinois):

Re: Boat Names

I helped a buddy do some work for his day a while back. In return, he got his dads 80's 19' cuddy, and he gave me his 15' BR bayliner. I did some rework on the thing and made it look all good, and named it " Free Ride " I figure it is fitting. He is having touble naming his, and I cannot figure one out for him. He is into mini trucks, lifted trucks, boats, and likes to party. One that I thought of was " Tanked Tanker " but not sure yet, got any ideas on it? He like to chillax on the water and fish.

Re: Boat Names

Had a good for a old project boat that I bought with a buddy of mine to tinker with. At the time I was with a lady named Sam and his wifes name was Tracey. Those two would drive us nuts asking to have the boat named after them because they were so patient (eyeroll) with the amount of time we spent on it. Heres what we settled on... " The Salmon Tray Sea" ... im single now so thats not going to work. lol

I just got my first boat, a 75' glastron v-156, and even though i just got it i've known the name for a while. "yacht-c" it was either that or the acronym for B.O.A.T Break Out Another Thousand haha

Re: Boat Names

After my last boat spent most of its time in the driveway, I said I'd call the next one 'Leafcatcher Too'. Now I have a boat, and it's decision time...

Other names: The commodore of the Cow Hill Yacht Club cruised in 'Udder Delight'. My last name is DeBree, so my houseboat was called 'Pile of DeBree', a play on an old song called 'Isle of Capri'.
