Re: Boat Names

Hey,
I've had my Deck Boat for 'bout a year now and I haven't named her. My sign on is Saddle Up, I don't own horses, just a phrase my belated husband used to say when it was time to go, 82nd Airborne Viet Nam. My kids say its sounds like I'm a cowgirl. I thought it was catchy but I'm open to any suggestions.
Much Thanks

cool name. my father was a wwii vet,

Re: Boat Names

I was out fishing with my buddy when he said he was thinking of naming his 42' Chris Craft Commander.... I said "Somethings Fishy" would work well... he put it on the boat the next year... and been on there ever sence.... Then this year I bought his smaller boat that he named "My Woody", so that is the name of my 26' skiff craft hard top, made of all wood... that names staying...

Re: Boat Names

I want to buy a small boat for bass fishing with a small outboard and a trolling motor.

Plan on calling it "Trolling for Fatties":D:eek:

Re: Boat Names

the first boat i got was a unknown year arkansas traveler 13.5' with a 9.8 merc the wife wanted to name it "the minnow" but i never named it because of the camo.

now i have 3 boats the biggest being a 16.5' venture bass boat with a 115 johnson and the first time we took it fishing my wife caught a bluegill and since the boat is blue she insists this is the name "the bluegill". although i havent officially named the boat she claims since she caught the first fish out of it she should get to name it.

Re: Boat Names

I was once foolish enough to buy an inboard boat named "Titanic". After putting the third engine in it in a year I renamed it "Last Chance". At the end of the season I sold the boat and got married. I should have kept the boat instead.

Re: Boat Names

Would that the proposed name of my boat were as original as those listed here. I gave in and let my daughter name the boat.

The name she christened it is "CATTITUDE".

What can I say? She has a cat...

Re: Boat Names

We were shopping for a wooden runabout I was going to call Board Wake. We got fiberglass instead. I just couldn't convince myself to do the maintenance.
