Re: Boat Names

A couple years ago me and my brother came up with the name "Wild When Wet" for our 1991 19' North River Pro steelheader II (similar to the "sportster")

We came up with the name after we got a new engine in it, fuel injected 350 block putting out 325, it screams down the river. My mom shot down the idea to get the name on the boat, double meaning pissed her off. But this week our boat is getting repainted a beautiful blue-green with our name on the back :D

Nope..I dont think so..I should call my boat "WTF" as many times people tell me that when I unfold it and put my 5hp engine and my trolling motor and get on the lake with it.

My wife and I (and daughter) are all full blood Swedish. We have a Lund Fish and Ski that is mostly blue and yellow. Name on the back - "Full Swede Ahead"

Re: Boat Names

I'm thinking of naming my boat either "Sea-Bay" because I bought 90% of my parts on my refurb from E-Bay or "You N' Sea" because I'm a UNC graduate.

Re: Boat Names

Long time reader, first time poster....

Our boat is named "Pouge Mahone" which is gaelic for kiss my arse. We get a pretty good reaction when people ask us what it means.

For a few years we told the kids it meant "Have a nice day" That was even funnier when they would say pouge mahone to the other people on the docks.

Re: Boat Names

New to the forum, came looking for gel-coat re-shine ideas. Named my boat "Coral Reefer", the oldest child, 15 at the time said "Dad you can't put that on your boat do you know what people will think?" My response was yeah, load Hawaiian shirts, margaritas, bikinis, etc. She just stared blankly;)

Don't pick "Flying Solo" :D:D:D

We named our boat "Gale Force" after my mother Gale who passed away last year. Now Mom spends every weekend on the water with us!!!
