Just a side note on benefits at wal-mart, the employees have to pay a big chunk of that themselves.Originally posted by agitator:
Remember that Kmart, Sears, and others were there long before Wally World came along and failed to change as times and conditions changed. The free enterprise system can be unkind indeed to those that are mentally or physically lazy or choose to rest on their laurels. I see more loyalty to their employer by Wal Mart employees than many unions have to theirs who do not hesitate to wreck, destroy and otherwise hurt their companies during "negotiations". Also, few small employers in my community offer better pay and benefits for the same type work than Wally World. Also, a lot of customers are out to cheat, lie, steal etc. from businesses and they have to work to counteract it or they will be out business themselves shortly.
Nothing could be farther from the truth. If one thinks that benefits are "free" you're kidding yourself. Everyone is paying-trust me. Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it is not there.

Most people today do not even know how much income tax they pay. Why? Because they never see it.Just a side note on benefits at wal-mart, the employees have to pay a big chunk of that themselves

The response I got back was nothing less than condescending.WHY DON'T WE MOVE ON AND PICK UPON TARGET NOW?
