One thing sums it all up and that is WORK ETHIC! Something that is inherited into your DNA either you have it or don't it forces you to do the best you can at whatever you do that is why I follow this thread daily Troop stays at it and the proof is in the puddin! thumbs up Troop.

Hope everyone had a Great Monday...

First..the proof of work done yesterday evening....

Now...I got a late start tonight...


Sanded a little...my left shoulder has been hurting today...didn't hit me till I got back in the house...I was climbing down off the hull yesterday and did it in a different way than what I had been used too...had stuff in my hands...almost fell...caught myself by the arm that is now hurting...the same arm I have had a rotatorcuff tear on...no wonder it hurts

so here I took a shot of the largest golfball hole I filled yesterday....you can hardly tell the difference in the glass in it and surrounding it...all the holes I filled yesterday could each use 1 more layer of glass in my opinion....

This will be the last of the real boat werk updates for a few days..gotta run out of town on business...Hope you all have a great week!

Troop, just caught up. Great progress.

Going back a few pages, I always mix PB ingredients first, then MEKP. As GT said, its about the only option here in South Florida. But I always use a drill with a mixing tool, never mix by hand. Never had a problem.

Havingproblems getting files to upload to Photobucket for some reason...Will edit this once I get them to go up....

Glad to be back...few days off did my arms/shoulder a world of good though...

Went out tonight and just did some light sanding...those spots on strakes I started earlier in the week...some of the places this is the second go around trying to get them filled in 100%...decided if they are not filled in, will not round the corners this time...just gonna put some resin mixture down as they are and it should fix tthem...or so I hope...pictures coming soon...

Tomorrow...if we do not get any rain...think I will do the fairing mix early...fill the rest of the divits...one more layer on the ones I did last weekend..then grind the final bit of the keel...that should make it to where I can put my final glass down on the bottom...give me plenty to do for awhile...then more sanding....

Actually really good news...all parties involved are good to go...

Tomorrow, I am going to use the never ending air supply available at the shop to do my final sanding with 800 or 600 grit with the D/A to get ready for the final spray down...

If all goes well, either next Saturday, or the following one...depends on the painter's schedule...Spray time...

ok, here are the pics from yesterday evening....

all sanded and still has some dips that need filled....

Thought I'd share how I am sanding these down...

Start with 36 grit on a block

Get it close...

Move to 80 grit...

comes out looking good...once the corners are rounded over....
