Troop if you do pull the trigger on the garage what ever size your plannin go 25% bigger you'll never regret it and will probably want more space after it's done by adding a car port it makes for good summertime cover for the boat without tying up the enclosed space in nicer weater.

Rumour tells me this one is insulated...and heated....

Thanks Decker...I need a day of erfect weather...the sooner the better...would a side yard work?

I helped that buddy of mine that passed this year put one up about this size...tooks us 3 or 4 weekends...too bad I rent..but I think your are almost right in your prediction...

Got the patch sanded down..worked on strakes in between the tank filling on compressor...

Almost there...couple places to fill-n-fair...

I gots to get this thing gelled...for reasons not yet divulged...but there are hints lying all around these forums

I just didn't include the LA for now reference, but I did notice.... I also left out the no humidity to deal w/ comment....

Moving the Ebko turtle up, is problematic & the boat parts can't be towed in it that way, particularly the engine & cap.... So, ya need to get gel sprayed on the hull & get it flipped.

By my clock, you're burning daylight chit chatting w/ the boat nerds online

Are you also opening an upholstery shop, pausing the boat resto & now plan to taunt us w/ great looking PAID upholstery gigs?

Or a patching & fairing specialty boatworks w/ a gelcoat spray booth out back?

Northeast PA....lots of small tin worthy lakes....or small wooden ones....but the great Lakes are just a few miles down the road....and I love Walleye fishing in Erie...and I think the Ebko is just about the right size for a few freinds or family to spend out near Putin Bay...

Thinking about a plan of attack for the gelcoat session...

how does this sound?

start at the top on the keel...walking along the edge...put coats of gel on the inner most area of bottom..then move on to the rest of the bottom and sides from the ground....this way I don't need scaffolding...I'm not stepping on fresh gel either...then flip her, put the cap on...spray the cap...then roll on side and shoot the deck and sides on inside...
