I managed to get some filling done...just as I finished...it started sprinkling!

Hope it kicks OK...if not I'll just have to grind it back out and start over...

Good to see your still at it Troop! Me all I can do is think of next season and watch you guy's progress and pull up whats left of the sod in my front yard the grubs did'nt eat @ least 2 grubs per sq, inch in most places hit em with dilox Sat.Today cleaned basement unplugged my Dads septic drain line from the house (wasn't pretty) and finally some sainty catching up with my Iboats brothers. Looks good Troop and what about the planned mods to the front section of the cap?

Looking good Trooper. The filler should kick fine for you.
My weekend was a total wash out. Rained Friday and all day Sat and muddy all day today. Had to put in a new kitchen faucet Sat.
Keep up the good work.

Monday update:

The filler was soft this morning...got rained on...was not sure it would harden...home fom work tonight and it is tough as concrete....

sooooo...I sanded....will fill some more tomorrow, ran out of daylight....and the skeeters were out in force after the rainy weekend!

Last update for a few days...work has me on the road again...I just can't wait to get on the road again.....err sorry....

Soo....got a second layer on the right side..

Think I need to move the trailer...startring to wear a path in the grass...

And...got the secnd layer sanded down smooth....

Then I filled the left side...

No pic...but I filled every hole I could find on the inside too!...willl be waiting for sanding once I get back home again....

Troop you may want to think about putting the cap on some sawbucks to avoid all that actetone and sanding debri droping onto your nice trailer. Travel safely!

funny you mention that..I was thinking the same thing tonight when I spilled some acetone and dropped a big glob of fairing mix...

Travel went well.....but 500 miles from the boat...so no sanding tonight
Maybe I can talk the Admiral into doing a little sanding?

Made it back home just in time to get in bed so I can get up early and finish the cap sanding.....thinking I will get it finished...and may look at the changes to the bow I was thinking about doing....
