The floor in the bow looks great. Glad it turned out.
As for the cap to hull joint, I am no professional and I defer to those with much more insight/knowledge....but if it were me I'd be looking at getting some 4200 between the joints and then screw or pop rivet (closed ends) it together. Whatever you do you want a water tight joint. Again, don't take this as gospel and hopefully someone else will chime in.
