Don't like the interior and seats, going to change color to grey carpet and grey vinyl flooring. IMG_6769.jpgIMG_6770.jpgIMG_6771.jpgIMG_6777.jpgIMG_6781.jpg

She's too young for you. She looks pretty good, but I know from your other projects you're going to make her better. :D

You're going to have to start listing your rebuilds in your signature. Loved the last one - amazed at how fast you did it. Look forward to this.

Real good looking SC John, how's the condition of the floors and such? That one looks like a real good spit shine and you could be sending her down the road at a nice profit.

Hi Glen. actually the floor and and interior are in really good condition, and I know I could clean her up and sell her, but it's the wrong time of the year, so I figure I might as well refurbish it gives me something to do over winter, then I'll either keep it for myself or sell it in the spring.

Hey Glen, the easy parts almost over, I want to make some changes, I think I will have to replace he upper deck ply' it's pretty wet in spots so that makes me think the rear deck and I'm pretty sure the floor, so it will be pretty slow going from now on.

I think bud just tore apart a perfectly good boat eh!

Bah, I'm sure the gray scheme will look a lot nicer than the green/tan.

Hey Jason, I'm pretty sure you'd be doing the same, I liked the green or tan but not together, also don't like carpet flooring so I'm going with vinyl, have to basically tear it apart to replace the floor so I might as well do the rest right.

Re: 2000 Starcraft Starfire 1900 refurbish

Started removing the old carpet, I've done a few starcrafts but man is this hard to get off I think starcraft has a new glue recipe, might take me all winter to just get the old carpet off. Some good news though, won't have to replace the bow wood, carpet was just wet and heavy rained on the way back. IMG_6811.jpgIMG_6812.jpg

Got most of the carpet out, need to replace center plywood not sure yet about the rest of the rear floor, the front portion is good, we had to cut the tongue to fit the trailer in the garage so IMG_6820.jpgIMG_6821.jpgIMG_6822.jpgIMG_6828.jpgIMG_6831.jpgmy son built a swing tongue for the trailer, just waiting for the paint to dry then attach it.

If you discovered a good method to pulling up the carpet, I would shure like to know it. I pulled a small section of the carpet in my Glastron a few days ago and it was not easy. In the next day or so I'll have to do the rest, so any tips would be appreciated. Thanks budski.

Actually the carpet on the floor sides and gunnels pulls off fairly easy just had a really hard time on the councils, you might want to cut it with a razer knife to start it, good luck.
