Thanks maryhannaj, Glen I've been getting my marine carpet and glue from a place called george n jackson you can google it they have a web page the carpet is called commander 110 and here is a pic of the glue, it is very toxic so you have to use it in a highly ventilated area, kind of contact cement you apply it to both surfaces it sets faster than contact cement about 2 mins, I didn't use it on the floor it is non forgiving once you apply the 2 surfices together, I used outdoor carpet glue and wrapped the carpet around the edges and stapled it on the other side with ss staples,

Wow John. That is really looking great man! I think you're going to be pretty dang proud of your accomplishments! It looks to me like it will be worth every bit of your effort, and you deserve to feel like your in a hole new vessel man. Nice.

Have most of the carpeting done dry fitted, still have to do gunnels and hatches

Were those glass console caps original? Look really good against the gray carpet!

Thanks Jason, thanks jb, those are the original console caps they used to be a beige color, I painted them with a paint formulated for plastic hope it holds.

Thanks Glen, we're getting there, would like to finish as soon as possible so I can put my truck in the garage, had to brush about 8 inches of snow off it this morning.

I used some paint that was formulated for plastic and vinyl to paint dirtbike plastics. And it did work really well. It never chipped, flaked or anything like that. It carries some type of promotion inhibitor that helps the color really BITE into the surface as long as its prepped up thoroughly. I think it was actually a Krylon and I just picked it up at an auto parts store. Lookin great man!

Nice. I do beleive it will. It held up for me through Hot and cold, rain and snow, quick temperature changes and crashes. I think you're good to go on it. Nice choice in my opinion. I will definitely use it again!
