One more question - for now - do i need to encapsulate the under side of the decking before installing?

Got the decking rough cut. There is about a 4” triangle missing (gap) at the top of the deck at the bow. Do i need to cut this piece to fit, or can i simply peanut butter the sides and tab the front to the hull? Also, shared a few pics of the deck.

Make sure you always precoat the plywood with resin before you apply the first Layer of CSM Pay attention to the edges and let the resin really soak in.

Spring practice and little league baseball is over... Hoping to have a little more time! Got the cleats encapsulated and mounted. Glassing the underside of the deck and hoping to begin installing today after church - PB and Screws. Afraid I am not going to have enough resin to finish... I went ahead remarked the stringers on the decking and cut out foam holes before installing. Hopefully stay a way from an accident this way. Gas tank area has me nervous. Afraid i am going to miss something and close it in before I should have... Any reminders for reassurance is appreciated.

Make sure your wiring for tank is able to be done, hoses, vent/fill accessible, Good luck and have fun!

The ski locker was originally vented in to the gas tank compartment. See pic. Should this be done again? If so, should the gas tank compartment be vented on the other side as well - side the motor is on?

Not sure what that is but the tank underdeck should have a fill to deck and the tank vent needs its own line out the side of the hull.

It was just a vent between the ski locker and under deck compartment the gas tank sits in. If i removed that vent in the original design (picture) there would just be a hole in the wall between the ski locker and the gas tank compartment. Do i need this? I assumed it was to allow gas vapors to escape? I've seen conflicting opinions of this.

When it comes to fuel tanks no one likes my opinions. Do what makes you feel safe.

Thats just it - I don't know! I would think you would only want any fumes - if ever leaked - to escape to the bilge, and not the ski locker, to where the blower can pull the out. Yet, is the front vent a fresh air intake for the blower to pull from?
