ok, i guess since you did all the work on her:D, you can keep the name:p[/QUOTE]

Thanks Buggy,lol

and we really appreciate the effort. It's awesome to see a gorgeous boat come back to life.

As long as I am appreciated it is all good, haha. Its funny, I think I am on my third digital camera and 3 phone w/camera since I started this project. Guess I will have to put that in the final tally of what this project has cost me. Thanks man.:)

Hey guys, got the port side between outer hull and first chine all the way back to the stern sanded down and finished today. Only thing left on the port side is between rollers and that should take but about an hour to do. Ran out of film disks, so will be hitting that in the next couple days. Here are the pics.:)

Ummm, he said: "And let there be light"

And then there was none!?!?!?:confused::(

Nuts, now I won't be able to sleep......:D

At least until I can stand up & proclaim: "I have been to the river & I have seen the light! I am HEELED brother!"

Lol, I have seen the light!!!!

LOL

BTW Budd, thinkin VERY seriously about hitting cunninghams this weekend!

Holy smokes, its Smoke!!:D Hows the dark days of the computer coming along?

Man, Cunninghams is tempting, but I will be taking advantage of this weather for work and getting the boat ready for thunder. Hope it doesn't flood this year for the big show. I still have to pull the drive off to get that little clip I lost at the end of the season when I pulled the "do not touch plug" on the outdrive thinking it was a drain plug.

I was seriously going to make everyone wait until tomarrow, but I can't cause JBcurt to loose sleep tonight! lol:p

I Know you guys think I was talking about the lights, well, the light at the end of the tunnel is more what I was thinking, lol

The lights have gotten a little brighter, I will NEVER have to scrape the bottom paint off this boat again in this lifetime. I scraped the last sections off today, so NOOOOO more scraping!! I know, let down for some, but HOORAY FOR ME!!!!!!!! lol:D

Still got to sand it though............

Scraped and ready for sanding!

No more of snorting paint chips through my nose, and no more blue chips everywhere.

I never went anywhere.... I just lost all of my pics on my other computer and can't post any from this one because it freezes up if I try..... I am still hoping to recover the other one but haven't messed with it for a while... been working on an engine swap 'n stuff on my diesel burban. freeze damage:facepalm:

I'm curious... If you had started with your entire hull already scraped and only had to do the sanding, how long do you think it would take?

The light is coming to those with patience, lol Your going to be banned right before the reveal lmao. joking of coarse. Did you hear the evil laugh?:D Makers and coke for me my friend, beer just doesn't do anything for the sore shoulders.

Didn't think the burban would fit in the freezer:p Howed that happen?

I think if it was completely stripped before sanding it probably would have taken a week or more if I was at it every day. you figure your going over the hull three times with different grits and then compounding. And then wax at some point on mine. Its been what, 3 months that I have been working on this. But its been part time, couple hours there, couple hours here, etc.
