I am so excited to see the actual wiring schematic with the slave start solenoid included. That is where my problems reside I am sure. I am wishing I could pan farther to the left with the picture to see the instrument panel side. :} This is a rare find for me. Now I need some good dry weather. Taking the time to fix this right will make the boat so much more enjoyable. Thank you again. This is a real treat.

Re: 1988 SunRunner 235 Weekender

I now have glass on the port side floor, I'm really getting antsy about getting this into the water.

I am working on placement of the battery bank. This will comprise of 2 starting batteries and two deep-cycle batteries. My thought is to put them under the cushions in the sleeping area to alleviate having all on the weight at the stern.

I wonder if being in the bow will cause problems with vibration damage?

I am done with the stringers, bulkheads, and sole! To date the material list from US Composites is;

25 gallons of 435 Polyester resin
20 yards of 1708 Bi-axial cloth

15 yards 8.5 ounce Twill E-Glass
4 gallons Cabosil
10 pounds 1/4" chopped strand
5 quarts 3M Glass Bubbles
4 ounces titanium dioxide (White color in holds)

From other sources;
6 4x8 sheets marine grade plywood- Homestead Hardwoods, Vickery Ohio
6 cases pool noodles- Leslie's Pool Supply
12 boxes of powered latex gloves- wherever they were on sale
3 24-count boxes of 1 quart mixing containers- ACE Hardware
1 500-count box of large tongue depressors- Grainger
6 gallons acetone- Sherwin-Williams

Wow looks so nice, are you planning on using a different type of finish flooring other than the carpet. Something that will not hold or allow moisture?

The boat made a trip home for cleaning and polishing. I took a hose to the interior to get the fiberglass dust out, what a mess.

I have spent 53 hours this past week wet sanding, polishing, buffing and waxing. If you have done this you know the pain..... hands, back, neck......

This is how she looked when we picked her up at the marina,

Thanks Trooper82, Been watching your project, its looking great!

Yes, I was relieved to be done with the sole. I had an extension ladder leaning against the stern, to climb in and out during glassing. That ladder is what i am happiest to be done with.

THE END IS NEAR!!!!!
...got the floor covering done today. The photos are bad, we lost power during a storm. This is Nautolex "Sharkskin" vinyl. The odd blue color in the center of the floor, is a flashlight I used to get the camera to focus.

I didn't like the idea of carpet in the restroom, out it when and the vinyl went down.
