Paint looks good, thick, and durable! You should set her out in the hot southeastern sun and let that stuff cure.

That paint color has a clean look about it alright. The light color should keep the deck and interior nice n cool. Just remember when the dirty feet come aboard that it will show up instantly, at least so I have found. What's your plan for non-skid on the deck surface?

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the positive feedback... It was sort of a tedious job, but I'm glad I did it now.

Have a great weekend.

Re: 1988 Sea Nymph GLS - 17'

Hope everyone has a blessed day today...

Got a little work done this morning... Here is my dash panel all mocked up; I think I'm going to like it... I ripped that switch panel out of the starcraft glasser that I sent home to glory, and then cut it down to size... Going to use the toggle switches that fit those cut-outs...

Steering wheel is purposefully slotted over to the left side a bit (gives me more room for the arm of the teleflex steering assembly that goes behind there... Plus I think it will give me a bit more freedom of movement...

Oh, and I cleaned up the old rubber/plastic steering wheel and painted it stainless steel and black.

Dash panel looks great. Perhaps I'll go a similar route when I redo mine since that big multi-function gauge I have (and cut a HUGE hole for) turned out to be a bust. I do wish we had a little more real estate to work with on these console dashes.

Thanks Sam... Loved your splash vid... Your boat turned out awesome! Yes, Rusto carries a spray bomb color called "stainless steel" (more of a "color" than a finish per se)....

Really liking the dash panel.. Very sharp..

Thanks, I'm trying to get to the finish line as fast as I can.

Thank you, sir!

Thanks, Gus, I may not to be "borrow" your aluminum polish techniques for that dash panel...

Dash panel looks great. Perhaps I'll go a similar route when I redo mine since that big multi-function gauge I have (and cut a HUGE hole for) turned out to be a bust. I do wish we had a little more real estate to work with on these console dashes.

Thanks EZ... Yeah, there is definitely a shortage of real estate... I thought about fabbing up a little "instrument panel" for the gauges that would rest on top of the console, but I ended up just cramming everything in there...

Looks, like we are getting into the fun stuff, awesome!:thumb:

Thanks, I appreciate all of your help... I definitely learned a lot from watching your build (so hopefully you don't mind that I borrowed a few ideas)..

I like the looks of that console, really coming along nice.

Thank you... I'm excited to be getting to some of the finishing stages...
