Got it wrapped, im technically indoors now...just in time for the rain tonight.

I made it a little longer than needed, so i have a work area..

The wood i had onhand, i had a big stack of t&g 2 x 6 that i ripped on the table saw to 2 x 4, which was left here by the previous owner. Also had 4 windows and a door.

70 3/4 pvc pipes - approx $150
36 cross fittings @ 2.25 each (ridiculous) $81
4 t fittings $2
1 pack of 10 furing strips $12
6 packs of c clamps $15
1 20x100 roll of husky 6mil plastic $100

out of pocket about $360 + some screws and staples

worth every penny!

That shelter turned out Grrrr-8!!!
Super nice job!
Speaking of these types of enclosures for boats...
This is one being used on a yacht for refinishing where my neighbor works...

Refinishing1-1.png

They even build them around yachts that are too big for the dry dock, on the water...

Refinishing3-1.jpg

And here is an overall view of their marina/dry dock...upper left side you can just make out the on land dry dock with several boats all wrapped up for refinishing...

that is awesome! EPA......hmmm....Oh yeah the guys we shoot around here.....knew I had heard that acronym before :D Nice looking....umm small warehouse you have there! Looks like a great place to hang out for the winter to me! I'm not sure what is more impressive, the boat or the tent! Funny you got that up today, my neighbor next door got the "skin" on his greenhouse today. He grows flowers for the nurseries around and the tornado leveled it along with his house. Gald to see both of you have someplace to carry on your hobby this winter!

Ohh maaan! that 1st one is huge!...that would be grounds for divorce in my yard ;)

The second one is neat, looks like they hung scaffolding off the side and shrink wraped it...

What can you say about those Megas in the third pic, except they must start fueling them on a monday to have them full by the weekend!.

All those really big ones feature the name of the vessel on the wrap. Will yours?

And I worry enough about the 12x24 tent 14' in the air over mine. It makes the "big azz boat in that guys driveway" into "OMG! Look at the derelict barge in the circus tent!"

Since i havnt named it yet, i guess i could put "TBD"

You should slap one of these on the side, that would cause a "stir" :D

Yep, Mine too...

The second one is neat, looks like they hung scaffolding off the side and shrink wraped it...

That is exactly what they do...they build a scaffolding system around all of them then use the plastic shrink wrap that is used on brand new boats for transport and even some older ones that get stored for a time...

What can you say about those Megas in the third pic, except they must start fueling them on a monday to have them full by the weekend!.

I asked him about that once and to my best recollection, the pumps they use put out something like 3000 gallons a hours...some of the bigger ones take as much as 4-5 hours to fill 'er up...and yeah, they check the oil and clean the windshield, too...

ahoy there, permission to come aboard as well? .. just been looking over all the work you are doing.. wow.. I feel like mine just needs a spit shine now by comparison! I'm liking the tent/shelter.. heh, I'll have to post pics of mine when I get it back up over the big dirty.. I had a 'temporary shed' over my 23ft formula last season, but.. ahem.. it's not gona be quite big enough for the 'new' boat.. (and not nearly as nice looking as yours) so me thinks I'll need to buy some more lumber and a bigger tarp, but you do what you can right?
