Does that little white sticker on the trailer next to the "escort" logo have the dry weight of trailer on it???

My HD galvanized single axle trailer for my 20’ F/W weighs 850 lbs but that’s a roller trailer with a 6,000 axle & 12” brakes & 15” rims & 225/75-15” tires so it’s gotta be heavier than typical. I bet that trailer is 550-600 lbs.

I think the fuel gauge isn’t working. Any idea where I could get a replacement

Check the terminals on the back of the gauge for power & ground. If good then check the tank sending unit.

Says it’s a little less than half full. Went to fill it up thinking it would take 10-11 gallons got to 6 and it shot out the fill hose

so it works, it is just not accurate. your boat also is not sitting level.

My guess is the sender is at the front of the tank. so replacing it wont change the accuracy unless you go with a custom programmed ultrasonic tank level sensor vs the resistor and float arm.

Do you have a link to one I could buy?

I was meaning the hydraulic fluid pump that runs the stern drive up and down. We have had it put on the water two days strait. Running amazing

yes. and the power steering fluid as well

just an FYI, most 80's motors used SAE 30 in the motor, power steering, trim, and in some cases the outdrive.

Ok I will look in the Manual. I put w30 in engine and a high viscosity in the drive. Steering is mechanical. Just need to check hydraulic pump fluid. Greased the mechanical steering rod. If I recall the drive have a zerk I can grease. Any other spots? I have a new blower coming since the one I have is slightly wrapped and screeching unless I move it a bit by hand. I want to get a fish/depth finder. Any recommendations? This is the one I’m looking at nothing to fancy.

Not knowing what is in there, hard to say, but I always used Dex from the auto parts store
I had to change that P/S actuator a few years ago, made a mess while it was leaking for a couple seasons.
Removed the exhaust on both sides for access and had to get this cotter pin removal tool to get the dang cotter pins out.
Nice to have leak free P/S!

I have had the issue with fuel coming out of the filler like that, tank wasn't full either. I had to remove some of the bend from my filler hose so air wouldn't get trapped. I ve known alot of people with this issue and it really helped.
This is initially was happening even with a new vent hose that worked properly.
The sending unit is right in front of the engine.

Thank you ya I think filling not at full blast would help too.
