Still gotta make the cushions for the front. Still gotta put the seadeck flooring in and mount the seats. And I need to install the doors for the rear cabinet. Gotta put the StarCraft logo on and my registration numbers. And then finally I can install the motor and hook up the last 2 wires. I'm sure there's a few little things I am forgetting. But 2 or 3 more weeks and it'll be time for it's first splash

This weekend is another weekend off. Gonna finish my greenhouse. My girlfriends son has dental surgery and next up is mounting the doors on the splash well and doing the floor and possibly cushions depending on time.
Not only is she way better then me at cutting the Seadeck to fit nicely shes better than me at the cushions so I am going to wait for her. Ill assist her instead of her assisting me. Then I need to make the shelving unit for under the splash well and mount the Lithium Ion batteries for the electric motor and mount the Mercury back on and I think shes done unless I am forgetting something. I am getting antsy I am ready to post the pics of the first splash post restomod

Do you have a fire plan in place for the Lithium ion batteries?

Man I am already ready for the weekend. This coming weekend will be exciting. Putting the flooring in and basically visually finishing the interior. Putting reg numbers and sticker on and adding the StartCraft logo back.
After that I have a shelf to build but you will only see it when the splash well doors are open. Oh and I will have the cushions to do so I guess it wont be %100 visually done but close

1 more day to go and the splashwell doors go on. The seadeck goes in and the seats get permanantly mounted. And maybe if things go smoothly I can get the bow cushions done too. Then I can do a walk around since all thats left is a shelf in the splashwell cabinet and putting the motor back on. Its getting so close I can taste the salt water

Couldn't wait to get these in. Tomorrow it's seadeck and seats. Sunday it's bow cushions

Love the steering wheel and flooring! That stuff is so comfy to walk on barefoot. Its why I did mine like that too.

It is definitely comfortable to walk on. Which is good since I don't like shoes on the boat. Got some more to finish tomorrow. More pics to come
The girlfriend picked the steering wheel out so she will be happy to hear it's liked. I got the batteries and chargers in today too and installed a plug for the electric motor. I got a 24v 86lb thrust. All the little things are hitting too. Bow cushions I had planned tomorrow but they are now a week or two off since the flooring is taking longer than planned. Next week her kids will be here so we will be doing stuff they can help with.

Ran out of seadeck but got the bow cushions done. I think they turned out absolutely amazing and they are comfy as hell. I got 8 inches of foam pre compressed to 4 inches so it feels kinda like memory foam

How does seadeck secure to the floor? Does it have its own adhesive?

Yes it's a peel and stick deal that has its own adhesive. It seems pretty good but I only put it on yesterday afternoon. It's been fairly cold and so far so good

I used some gorilla glue spray adhesive to secure mine. Once on, its not coming off without scraping it. If yours ever comes up just hit it with some of that stuff.

Closed cell foam so doesnt absorb water or anything else. Had fish flopping around on deck and no residue from them stuck around. Gasoline is the exception - that can warp it, cause it to bubble. Siva is right - just vacuum and wash it down. Mine still looks new over a year later.

I'm thinking about snap is astroturf for mine. That stuff looks/feel almost like real nowadays. Snap out for fishing, in for fun.
