Nice hummingbird... gotta love crappy tire for some great deals! 50-60% off rocks!
You've gotta be close to having all the toys for this??? Anything else that you will be picking up?
J.
Did you wear a hoodie and ski mask to get such a deal on the 'Bird? Great score, Glen. You didn't forget the staples, did you?
You're moving along at quite the rapid pace!!! Next thing ya know she will be on the water and we will see the splash pics. I have a feeling there are going to be quite a few completed projects this year.
Nice gear Glen. If you don't mind me asking... where did you get the switch panel from?
J.
Nice goodies. I like that switch panel too.
More great gear
The switches have waterproof covers? They'll go good w/ the interior.
Hey Glen, that bow roller looks very familiar. I'm interested in seeing how this turns out. Will it be a Delta anchor? - Grandad
Yup, Good morningGetting gear is always a fun thing eh buddy:madgrin:
I was about to buy a Bruce claw until being talked out of it by experienced sales staff at a boat show where I bought my roller. If you aren't already committed to the claw, check the self-launch characteristics of each before you spend. The straight shank of the claw allows it to sit there lazily, even with no rode tension. The Delta's angled shank encourages it to roll forward when released. I thought it might cause it to be sloppy in the roller, but it sits surprisingly solid, without bouncing around. They'll both fit that roller. I can launch and retrieve it without even getting off my butt. You'll love it. - GrandadHey Grandad, not a Delta similar though a claw, I don't think my set up will be as elaborate as your.
Getting gear is always a fun thing eh buddy
the opening-the-box-and-dreaming part is always much easier than the aftermath.....
(i meant the installation, not the credit card statement at end of month, but there's that too)
