Wow, looking sharp Glen!

How do you not pay for propane? I'd love that.

Thanks 64
I work for a propane supply company and part of the incentive to get me to come over was free propane as long as I work for them. Love that!!

Looking really nice great job Glen

Thanks John.

That is so ridiculously awesome man!!!

I don't pay for propane either.

Course, I have to cut, split, stack, season, haul, dump, stack again, 6 full cords of wood in order to "not" pay for propane:rolleyes::facepalm:

here's a little peak at what happens on the Canadian prairies when it warms up a little after an Arctic blast. Since I shot this the visibility has dropped to about 40yards.

Carp, that's chilly & it's gotten worse since you shot it? Yikes........

Hey, I think I've seen your other video:

Stay warm, & it's very generous of you not to over use the propane keeping the SC hanger above 65F all winter...

The weathers turned real nasty.

When I got up at 4 this morning it was -28.6c and a light SE breeze. It is currently -6c with 70k N winds.

One last video for the day. I did have another break though today, I braved the blizzard to run into town to pick up a package at the Post Office that contained more polishing supplies. I ordered a couple yellow Hex-Logic cutting pads and have found they work excellent on the aluminum as a start. I had some bad scratches on the transom I sanded out with 320 on the orbital and the yellow pad will remove the sanding swirls very fast.

I use about 2-3 cords to pay half for propane. :joyous: But my wood burner is not the most efficient, it was built in 1905 or close to it.

Glen would be sweating. That's summer temps.

I met a guy that had a well on his land. He built a huge (30x60) non-insulated pole barn. In the middle of winter he would sit out in it in a short sleeve shirt. The heaters were cranking away.

Brutal.

How long does a polishing pad last?

Thanks B2, I can't imagine polishing a 32', just the thought of laying the first pad on her!!!

The pads last quite a long time, the one on the polisher has been going from the start and is about a 1/3 worn out.

Thanks John, we will see about that, she is a long way away from being finished, and I want this one to be an everyday driver so to speak. That is the main reason for polishing no paint to scratch up and the polish takes very little maintenance.
