Re: 1976 22' Starcraft Islander Rebuild
Will be interesting to see the new direction (& speed) the Islander resto takes.... I see a big push for a pre-hard water
Hey thanks for the heads up on the sig JB, should have that fixed now. Yah, I'm still going to do my best to the this Islander in the water before the dead of winter. Not so sure if I can pull it off now though. I'll be taking a bunch of steps backward first.
just caught the "swapped" reference...
Not sure I would have supported this endeavor had I known my favorite boat was part of the trade...
Yah, agreed. I'm not so sure I would have supported myself had I actually talked it through out loud.
Ah well, I do have a plan and I think it's a good one:thumb:
Okay, so I'm interested to know what's going to happen with this 22 footer?
So everybody was pretty disappointed about the Sea Nymph. Me too. They could see the fishing potential in the 261 but had a hard time getting ahold of the tube/ski/fun piece. For the past week I have spent a fair amount of time, with strong black coffee, thinking about this Islander. Just in case I actually scored that big one.
I probably thought through a dozen different options and scenarios and one option seemed to keep working it's way to the top of the list.
Let me draw a couple of lines here to show you what I'm thinking...
Yup, that's what I'm going to do:becky::madgrin::rockon:
