Re: 1976 22' Starcraft Islander Rebuild
Yah, I don't think I'll be anchoring a ton, but sometimes anyway. I'll also be adding a pair of cleats back closer to the the cabin for docking n' such.
Well, Maybe I'll just haul er over to ya!:thumb:
I was sitting, stareing, thinking and drinking coffee this morning. I do believe I have a good solution, I'll head over to my Merc post later and hash it out, eh.
Thanks for the kind words man!:joyous:
I spotted a photo of a new Islander with those separate nav lights and I knew I had to have them!
Yah, sadly, the outlook for this fall is a lot like the last few, working on house projects and hopefully finishing up this Islander. Oh well, it's all good.
And a helm, and electrical work, and a doghouse, and a windshield , and bulkheads, and a new paint job..........
I kinda figured you'd be putting up a big auto anchor setup out front instead of the cleat... Looks good and ought to hold ya right where you want!

If I lived near you, I would have had you drag that project over and I would spray it for you. But you would need to do the prep

I am pretty sure the bilge vent hoses need to go all the way to the bottom of the bilge as the fuel fumes settle at the bottom.

I wouldn't have even thought of the separate nav lights to enable that setup...pretty awesome, man!
