Looks like a date with the power washer and some degreaser may be in order.

Looks like you had a wad of fishing line wrapped around the prop shaft too.

That CL 140 MC A1 set up will fit your boat no problem since you have everything complete. You'll need the wiring harness and controls from the donor. If anything you'll have to move 2 bolt holes up and maybe add the flat bowling pin base shape to the keyhole.

I can't tell, did you replace the seal on that shaft? Looks like you pulled it earlier, but can't tell if you reinstalled a new one after you cleaned it up

Gouge mark behind the water pump on the cylander wall...makes me wonder how that happened...bright scoring on the backside of the pump...from us cycling the engine...

got to get a puller for the crank shaft pully and remove the timing set..and off to the machine shop for inspection, cleaning, and rehab..cylander honing..thread chasing, freeze plug hole cleaning..etc etc etc...thinking of doing the rebuild with a kit,, will post pics of the crank..that will hopefully be salvageable,, soda blast the rust off..IDK..i have a mechanic friend that will do the work for day for day barter work at his farm laying out concrete for a building and building the mini barn...so not bad when you can barter a skill set for my labor...he has redone lots of engines..thinks this one is salvagable if not cracked....not great but salvagable..
