As for the checkmate, I plan to run it for a season, then sell it to build an engine for the donzi.
I diddled a little more and got the cradle all glued in place. Now I can laminate it without it moving.

The ramp just has to be connected, but it lost a float in a storm, the one farthest out on the left, you can see it listing. The dock guy has a crane on a pontoon to lift it and install another.Very Sweet!
Why not just add some floaties to connect to the dock?
The 105 is still apart, havnt messed with it yet, in my mind, it will go back together and run lol, or it will blow up, time will tell.Great to see the progress….she’s a looker for sure. How’s the. Chrysler coming along? Is that 105 gonna be resurrected from the depths? Inquiring minds……lol.
Thats exactly how it goes...but its fine.I hate glassing when super humid ..
If you lean over and sweat all over the layup it will leave little white splotches everywhere…
Thanks Mike. So far the Sundancer is treating us well. I got the engines running pretty good now that the oil cooler is changed, still fiddling with the starboard charging problem tho, but im mostly too lazy when there to lay down in the bilge to check it all out. At least with the generator missing, I got a spot to lay in. Now if gas prices would only go downHey Zool, figured I would drop in here give kudos on your build. She is going to be real cool when done. I swear I remember seeing that boat on the bay by LBI and commenting on the Chrysler back in the 80s. Hope you are enjoying the big Sea Ray, I know we are enjoying ours.
