Thanks for being the voice of reason Kev...but the family likes starcrafts too so they agreed that using candles to read books for a few months instead of watching the dish wouldn't be asking too much

Seriously though, the owner responded, it is a Holiday with a swing-open windshield and the Merc is 65hp. I will be negotiating the terms shortly to see if a reasonable deposit will get that ad removed from craigslist ASAP

Just trying to get my invitation to Tinstock squared away. And wouldn't you agree that the $1400 with running 65 Merc price is better than the $600 15' Holiday with no motor?

that SC looks like a cool project, should be on the water perfect by next season! Heck with the no motor job unless you have a few laying around...they can get pricey. (good outboards) and that merc looks awsome, if it runs well...YEA! you own a Starcraft!

as for bills I agree, the bills will be there the StarCraft wont.. Muuuu Hahhhahhaa hahhah. Break out the candles! you can always eat fish for dinner! Burn wood for heat!

I was reading thru your thread today...which Rustoleum did you use, the Marine or another line? Great job!

I'll be using your thread for a reference when I get around to painting mine & plan to go red too but leave the bottom plain aluminum.

LOL yep Kev the new Tow Pig got her back on the trailer actually ended up getting her for $400.00 met the owner yesterday and made the deal my tow truck driver will be hauling her over here tomorrow . Then I will have the Jupiter and her Tow Pig to work on side by side LOL. I will get picks of the tow pig up tomorrow when she shows up . Heres a quicky look at what the Tow pig will look like when done .

That stripe looks really great. I probably wouldn't have bothered with it after the taping fiasco but it was well worth the effort.
