Doesn't it!. The epoxy i used says its U/V protected up to 120 degrees. you think it would be fine to leave unpainted?

Hmmm!!!! What kind of Epoxy was it?? Got a MFG Name????

Why are you using SemiGloss instead Of Gloss??

Re: {1965 Jupiter Restoration}

uhhhh.. id have to look at the box. the last coat on the transom turned out crappy cause i had lots of runs and drips so i will paint it. my boat has tons of little dings in the bottom so im going with semi gloss.

Re: {1965 Jupiter Restoration}

This thing is taking way longer than i thought it would, between my two jobs and my racing i have little time to work on it, i was off to a good start and im slowing putting it off :facepalm:. i just wanna get it back on the trailer so i can start putting it together, its been really hot and its hard for me to get an early start.. have pics off the final primer and sanding, will put up soon.

Hang in there PINIT. You'll get her done. You're already at the building stage, not more demo, so you've turned the corner. The transom/floors are the worst part once they're done, the rest is pretty fun/easy. Looks great so far!

Holy dent!! i think it turned out great, hopefully it cools off enough this eveing and i can get my color on it. might just wait until tomorrows day break again though, it was pretty nice walking outside and not getting slapped in the face with 105 temperatures.

Re: {1965 Jupiter Restoration}

Thanks guys, well its decision making time again, my upper rails are pretty beat up. i did fill all the holes in them but if you get eye level and look down them there is tons of dings/dents. i did think about capping them with bondo but im afraid it will crack when the hull flex's. im leaning towards something like truck bed liner, i would just have to find it in white is the only problem. i could also use white safety step grip tape. i dont know. :confused:
