ok there you have it - thats it for now other than the floor seems to be solid I cannot find a soft spot. There is a cut out in the back bilge area and it is one solid 3/4" so no 'top coat' it appears. Hoping the kitchen vinyl comes off easily so I can see what it really looks like; not sure whats going down afterwards.

I'll pull the skins off the seats, order new material and I've got a local guy that will cost me prob $200 to prep. I'll do a back bench area once I find a motor (75-115 I'm thinking - any specs out there for what it can take?) and see what kind of tank I'm putting in.

I'll post up the tear out pics and hopefully none of any 'oh crap what have I gotten myself into' pics.

If you see / have a spare motor sitting around let me know (PM please)

Sounds like it'll make a nice rig.

Congrats.

I'd bet its rated for a 70-90hp OB, but thats wholly a guess.

A 90 etec sure would be sweet w T and T :)

Come on overtime thru the summer....

overtime is but a distant memory. My hourly rate is the same very hour of the 60+ per week I spend at it.

Look at these controls - something is jogging my memory on them but can't pinpoint. Maybe just because we had them on one of dads boats. Not electric or anything? Oh and might end up with a free boat as someones donor if I find a package deal.

Looks like a nice project. Subscribed. I would think a 90-115 would be ideal. 75 would be on the low side for that.

Sweet! She should make a nice fishing boat/runabout. Looking forward to seeing you get her water ready. The rainbow was a nice sign. :encouragement:

Rated for a 90hp, and is it 16ft 4in?

FGs library doesnt list a 1963 brochure, but let me dig around. I might have a digital copy of it.

played it for the first time last weekend and stayed up until 1am last night. Couple times thought I was going to pee myself laughing

Millie (Mildred) is actually fairly small. We just had to put down our oldest and he was a big 'un...

going to replace two of the three panels. THink I'll fill her up with water next weekend and see where she's leaking.

Ugh ants........... Looks like its really clean below decks, and definitely no sign of that hull armor BS 64's dealing with.

Nice score! Hope ya find a 4cyl J/E soon, that boat needs to be floating and motoring......
