Half way there but lots of sanding left lol using gelcoat with micro balloons to spay it and then fair it out and see what i still need to fill , using a thickened gelcoat with microballoons as filler , whole think will be sprayed with smooth raptor liner to keep it from getting beat up anymore but id like to have a nice finish before i spray so it dont look hokey.

Somehow I missed this one. Just finished reading all the way through. Looks like another fun project.

long board sanding ftw, did one more fair skim coat on the bottom and its damn near perfect, Raptor liner should be here today , hoping to get bottom done so i can flip and get to the fun stuff :) ill post some pics today when i get a chance!
i debated just sticking with the gelcoat on bottom , however i think for longevity since ill be in shallows with this id go with raptor liner to prolong the life of the gelcoat.

yeah its about 30 mils when i shoot it , i use more then most folks usually do , i dont like linex because its more like rubber, where as raptor is urethane, so it can be thinned and shot with less texture yet you can build up layers , who knows maybe ill regret it one day but with the flex and give in these wailers gelcoat don't seem to not get cracked where as this is slightly more flexible, i will say linex makes a beautiful bed liner though , my truck gmc 2005 was shot with raptor from factory and its held up pretty well .
