Sam was right on the fan, but don't do that with gas shielding....it blows the shielding gas off. Looks like you are running fluxcore, so the fan isn't a big issue. Fluxcore also does better on dirty stuff and galvanized. Congrats on trying the welding out! auto darking hood is a great investment also.....I hate my fixed shade ones!

Just looked it up and it has some validity, drinking milk. Beer is better though.

Is this a trick like saying I smell pot when you fart.

Any welder with experience welding galvanized can hold their breath for about 90 seconds and knows to drink milk. The calcium in the milk prevents the body from absorbing the zinc in the weld smoke.

The head of our production shop used to weld DOT rail for about 20 years

One of these days I have to try wire fed. Gave up on stick years ago except DC on thin metals.

first coat on it , then rain came, this is vinyl duplicolor bed liner material , it works fine for trailers but i wouldn't use it on a truck bed or boat bottom lol i have had this stuff for 12 yrs in the can and it never goes bad, i have used it on 3 different projects and after 2 yrs so far its still holding up :) this is my preferred material for coating a poly tank to cut down on permeation, cant line the inside like moeller does from factory but can spray it on outside to help older poly tanks

its the old version of duplicolor before they changed to water based, i had it for work trucks for a long time, it worked great for other things but not so much for work truck beds lol
